The quotes above are an example of the specific messages that our clients have been leaving on our call in line. This is part of the daily accountability that we require from them in our coaching.
Most often the path to action gets stuck in the area of beliefs. How it shows up is in our frustration of not being in action and we can’t figure out why. We get so stuck in the “how” that we end up spinning our wheels and get out of control. We have to consider action to be a natural result or a by-product of an aligned self.
The first thing to do is to discover what element of alignment that you are stuck. You do this by practicing awareness and by simply observing yourself. At first it may be a challenge for you to do this yourself and this is what we as coaches are trained to do. The order of the elements is 1) values, 2) beliefs, 3) goals, 4) commitments, 5) words, 6) thoughts and 7) actions.
For example, say you are not calling your past clients the way you know you should. You are simply not in action. Through our coaching process we then discover that your limiting belief is that you feel like you are begging when you call them. We know that when you are out of alignment in any one area the end result will be “no action”. So based on this belief it is painfully obvious why you resist picking up the phone.
One of the affirmations that we ask our clients to use is “I am unlimited.” We believe that you are unlimited and we as coaches only see you from that perspective. What we ask you to do is to simply “observe” your thoughts, fears and doubts and not to identify yourself as them.
Together, once we identify an existing limiting belief such as “I believe my past clients will think I am begging when I call”, we want you to simply “observe” it, not judge yourself by it, and start to track evidence daily in this area that you are 1) proud of, 2) grateful for and 3) what wisdom you have learned.
We ask that you track this daily so that through repetitious tracking it will supersede the old beliefs. This exercise is based on the fact that we want our clients to focus on evidence in their life that supports them vs. limits them.
This process takes a lot of courage and commitment from the client. Our belief at Furber Coaching is that the path to action in Real Estate is paved through personal growth. If you are wanting big changes and big results you have to focus on aligning your self first by being clear on your values, beliefs, goals, commitments, words and thoughts.
Our clients are taking a huge leap of faith in themselves and dedication to their business. They are staying in action by reaching for higher thoughts. The momentum from this activity, especially in this market, is bringing profound results. We are so proud them of all of you!! Be Proud today! Be grateful today! Find your wisdom today!!!! |
